OUR PASTORS

Pastor John & Lindsay Huseman
John and Lindsay have a heart to reach Salina and beyond with the life changing message of Jesus. They are passionate about building the local church and being a blessing to their community. Nothing gets them more excited than to see people that have been far from God come back to the Lord. The heartbeat of The Ark is building a church for the saving, redeeming, and healing of households. Every week lives are changed at The Ark Church.
John grew up in Salina, and graduated from Salina Central High School. At Salina Central, he was an all-state athlete winning a doubles state championship in tennis, and as the starting quarterback leading the football team to a state championship his senior year. John worked at Kanakuk Camps for fours years before entering into full-time ministry. The Husemans have served as Youth Pastors in Colorado and Texas for 18 years, and and now after being gone for 20 years, they are thrilled the Lord has led them back to the place John first gave his heart to Jesus.
The Huseman’s have a beautiful family with four children – Brooklyn, Jonathan, Naomi, and Samuel. In their free time, they love making memories as a family, trips to the pool, ice cream runs to Bogeys, weekly doses of Chick-fil-A, and cheering wildly for the Kansas City Chiefs and occasionally the Dallas Cowboys!
